Takashi: You told me that I could help with the Indonesia project the other day. Is that still the same situation now?
Silvia: Yes, I want you to be a liaison between Singapore, Jakarta, and Tokyo Headquarter. This means you will be responsible for coordinating all the relevant stakeholders. So, you will be reporting to me.
Takashi: Oh, I guess that’s something to celebrate. But, isn’t it a big responsibility to be the point of contact?
Silvia: Of course. I’m afraid you’ll have a lot to take on, but I believe you’ll grow and be worthy of the position.
Takashi: I understand. I’ll do my best not to let you be disappointed.
Silvia: It’s nice to see such positive motivation! Did Michael teach you American assertiveness, right? Anyway, please contact Lucy Cheng, senior manager of the Singapore branch. She will brief you on the Jakarta project.
