今日もHinativeを使ってみたので紹介します。
作成した日本語文章
先週の週末は実家のベランダでキャンプをしました。
テントを立てるのは初めてでしたが、20分ほどで組み立てることができました。
夜は鮭、海老、カルビなどを焼いたりしました。
この時期は蚊が多く発生する時期ですが、マンションの5階だったので、蚊に悩まされることはありませんでした。
夜も快適に眠る事ができて、大満足のキャンプデビューでした。
作成した英訳
I went camping on the balcony of my parents’ apartment last weekend.
It was the first time for us to set up the tent, but we could assemble it in about 20 minutes.
At night, we enjoyed grilled salmon, shrimp, and ribs.
Now we are in the season that many mosquitoes are arriving.
However, our balcony is on the fifth floor of the apartment. So, we were safe from mosquitoes.
Also, we could sleep well that night and it was a wonderful camping debut for us.

“our first time”の方が短くてわかりやすいですね。
あと、”特定のテント”を立てたのが初めてというより、テントを立てるということが初めてだったので、確かに”the”よりも”a”が適切です。”manage to～”のほうが「何とか立てた」という、初心者の感じが伝える気がします。

ここは、ぶちぶち切って三文にしていたのを、一文でスマートにしてくれました。
難しい単語も使っておらず、すっと頭に入ってきます。
