今日はコロナワクチンについて書いてみました。
作成した日本語文章
日本でもコロナウィルスのワクチン接種が始まり、すぐに接種したいと思っている人もいれば接種したくないと考えている人もいます。
すぐに接種したくない人は、数年後の副作用が明らかでないことなどに不安を持っていることや、日本製のワクチンでなければ打ちたくないという理由があるようです。
私は機会があればワクチン接種することを考えていますが、それほど大慌てで打ちたいというわけでもありません。
作成した英訳
The coronavirus vaccination has started in Japan.
Some people want to be vaccinated immediately, and some do not want to be vaccinated.
People who don’t want to be vaccinated think that it’s not sure about the side effects in a few years later, and they want to be vaccinated by Japanese product.
For me, I would like to be vaccinated if there is a good opportunity, but I don’t need to do that immediately.
修正内容
今回は一人の方に指摘いただき、修正箇所は３文目のみでした。
People who don’t want to be vaccinated think that it’s not sure about the side effects in a few years later, and they want to be vaccinated by Japanese product.
↓
People who don’t want to be vaccinated are concerned about potential future side effects and want to be vaccinated by a Japanese product.
“concerned about”のほうが、ワクチン接種を希望しない方が心配しているというニュアンスが伝わりやすいかと思いました。
もう少し、突っ込みどころが多い文章を書くとフィードバックを貰えそうな気もしますので、後日、ちょっと見直しをあまりしない状態で、作文結果を見てもらいたいと思います。（自分が見直しをあまりしない状態の文章がどのくらいのものか把握することもできるかと考えています）
